Frequently Asked Questions
TodayGgigu (todayggigu.kr) is a China import agency platform where you can search 1688, Taobao and VVIC products and order them with a real-time quote. Ordered goods are received, inspected and packed at our logistics centers in Weihai, Yiwu and Guangzhou, China, and then shipped to Korea. We offer purchasing agency, shipping (package forwarding) agency, Coupang Rocket Growth inbound, and trade agency services such as price research and OEM.
Yes. TodayGgigu is run mainly for business members, but individuals can also sign up, and some shipping methods support personal customs clearance. Imports for resale, however, must go through business customs clearance.
Yes. Search keywords you enter are translated into Chinese for the search, and product names and options are shown translated. TodayGgigu also communicates with Chinese sellers and handles inquiries on your behalf.
With purchasing agency, TodayGgigu places and pays for the order with the Chinese seller on your behalf. With shipping agency (package forwarding), you buy the goods yourself and send them to our logistics center in China, and we ship them on to Korea. Either way, the center handles receiving, inspection, consolidation and customs clearance.
Purchasing agency is for buying products already on sale by choosing them on the site. Trade agency is an import you carry out together with a dedicated manager, such as price research, OEM manufacturing, factory sourcing and bulk orders. Apply for trade agency from [OEM Custom Order] or [Price Research] on the home page.
Click [TodayGgigu Login] on the right side of the home page, then choose [Sign up] or use quick login with Google, Kakao or Naver. Enter the required information and the 6-digit verification code sent to your email to complete sign-up.
On the sign-up screen, choose [Sign up as a business] and upload an image of your business registration certificate. To order with business customs clearance, all company information in My Page, including the business registration certificate, must be filled in.
Yes. Go to My Page → [Personal/Security] → [Company Information], enter your business details, attach an image of your business registration certificate, and click [Update].
Go to My Page → [Personal/Security] → [Account Security], enter the referral code and click [Update]. The referral code is the member ID of the person who referred you, made up of the letters TJ followed by numbers.
Go to My Page → [Delivery Address] → [Add New Address], choose [Personal] or [Business] according to your customs clearance type, and enter the address, postal code, name (or company name) and mobile number. For personal clearance also enter your Personal Customs Clearance Code (PCCC); for business clearance, your business registration number.
You can view and copy the center address from [Shipping Address] at the top of the site, and find your member mailbox number in My Page. Write both the center address and your mailbox number as the delivery address at the store where you buy, so that receiving is fast and accurate.
Find the product by entering its name or link in the search box, or by searching with a photo. Choose options and quantity, then click [Add to Cart] or [Buy Now]. In the order information, select [Purchasing Agency] or [Shipping Agency], check the product name, quantity, price and label, and click [Order Now].
Yes. Click the camera button in the search box and upload a photo. Screenshots from online shops work too, and if the exact product isn't found, similar products are shown.
You need to meet the minimum order quantity set by the seller. Choosing products with a low minimum lets you buy in small quantities, and you'll be notified at the order step if the quantity falls short.
Yes. Besides registering product URLs one by one, you can register many products at once with an Excel file and order them. Go to Product List → [Register Product] → [Bulk Excel Upload], download the template, fill it in and upload it.
In My Page → [My Orders] → [Order Details], you can check the seller's expected dispatch date, expected warehouse arrival date and expected international dispatch date, as well as arrival and label photos. For questions, use the [Order Inquiry] chat for each order to talk with our staff.
While the order is awaiting receipt, you can add products and change the delivery address, but details of products that have already arrived at the warehouse cannot be changed. After the shipping fee has been paid, the recipient information cannot be changed and the goods cannot be sent back.
For purchasing agency, you first pay the product price and fee (purchase payment). Once the goods are packed at the China center and the international shipping fee is set from the measured weight and volume, you pay again before dispatch (dispatch payment). Any additional costs, such as value-added services, are paid separately.
The purchasing agency fee and applied exchange rate depend on your membership level. Current values are published in the exchange rate menu on the home page and in the fees, exchange rate and payment guide (https://todayggigu.kr/guide/fees-and-payment, in Korean).
The applied exchange rate is the published exchange rate plus an additional rate set by membership level. That is why it is slightly higher than the published rate, and the additional rate may go down as your level goes up.
You can pay by bank transfer, credit card, or deposit balance. Choose the payment method at checkout and click [Submit].
Card payments are processed in the payment gateway (PG) payment window, and TodayGgigu does not store your card number. Bank transfer is a direct deposit into TodayGgigu's bank account.
First check your card limit and approval status with your card issuer. Card payment may be restricted depending on your membership level, and amounts under KRW 100 cannot be paid by card. In that case, pay by bank transfer or deposit balance, or contact customer service.
Payments are confirmed automatically only when the depositor name matches the name you entered at checkout exactly, including spaces. If the names differ, automatic matching fails and manual confirmation is needed, which may take longer, so please send the transfer details to customer service.
Yes. The coupons currently issued are shipping coupons that can be used only for international shipping fee payments, and each coupon may require a minimum international shipping fee. You can view coupons and redeem promotion codes in My Page → [Coupons].
Check [My Orders] in My Page and [Payments] in the Account Center. You can see the payment amount, payment method and processing status at a glance.
Go to My Page → [Deposit] → [Top Up], enter the amount and the depositor name, then transfer to the account shown. The top-up is applied automatically only if the depositor name matches the sender name at your bank exactly, including spaces.
Yes. In My Page → [Deposit], enter the information required for withdrawal and click [Confirm] to apply. It is usually processed within 1–2 business days, and you can check the request history on the same screen.
It usually takes 2–4 days from the seller's dispatch to our China logistics center, and 2–3 days from the center to your address in Korea. This may vary depending on the shipping method and customs clearance.
Options include sea freight (Incheon via CJ, LCL, sea express), air freight (standard and express), and Coupang Rocket Delivery inbound (Milk Run or self-delivery). Available options differ by center, so check each route in the shipping cost guide (https://todayggigu.kr/en/shipping-cost).
Generally, sea freight is better for bulky or large shipments, while air freight is faster and simpler for small quantities. Costs vary by route, weight and volume even for the same cargo, so compare using the rate tables in the shipping cost guide.
It is calculated by multiplying the route rate by the chargeable weight, which is the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight of the box packed at our China center. Volumetric weight is calculated from the box's length, width and height; see the shipping cost guide for each route's criteria.
Orders whose payment is confirmed by 11:00 a.m. are dispatched the same day. For business customs clearance, if you request dispatch by 11:00 a.m. on the day the goods finish arriving, we send a quote, and if payment is confirmed by 8:00 p.m. that day, the goods are dispatched the next day.
Yes. Once all products have arrived at our China center, they can be consolidated into one box. A consolidation fee may apply depending on the number of orders combined, and additional consolidation cannot be requested after the shipping fee has been finalized.
There is no storage fee for 10 days from the date of work completion, and for products over 1 CBM, 300 won per day is charged starting 10 days later. The storage period for all products is up to 1 month, and may be discarded after 1 month, so please apply for delivery within the period.
Yes. An additional delivery fee may apply for remote and island areas.
You cannot choose the courier. We ship through the appropriate logistics company for each route, and bulky or heavy cargo may be transferred to Kyungdong Express with a separate delivery charge.
Yes. If you apply for Rocket Delivery in a purchasing agency order, our China center attaches Coupang barcode labels and prepares inbound boxes, then dispatches via Milk Run or self-delivery. Available dispatch methods differ by center.
Yes. When the order is in Final Arrival Complete status, click [Download Packing Info] in My Page → [My Orders] → [Order Details] to download an Excel file with the products and volume of each box.
Goods imported for resale go through business customs clearance, while goods for your own use are cleared personally with your Personal Customs Clearance Code. Goods for resale are not covered by personal-use rules, so they cannot be imported through personal clearance.
The name, mobile number and address (postal code) you enter must all match those registered with the Korea Customs Service. Please first check your registered details on the Korea Customs Service PCCC website. Goods cannot be shipped while the information does not match.
If the goods are worth USD 150 or more, or the quantity is large, they may be excluded from list clearance and taxed. If a single product has 6 or more units, or the total exceeds 12 items, the shipment goes through simplified clearance and a simplified clearance fee applies. Products with Bluetooth functions also require simplified clearance.
We do not handle items whose online sale or import is prohibited or restricted by law, such as alcohol, tobacco and e-cigarettes, and adult products, and we do not process counterfeit or imitation goods. Toothpaste, perfume, food, medicine, cosmetics, sanitary pads and similar items cannot be shipped. See the prohibited items page (https://todayggigu.kr/en/prohibited-items) for details.
Yes. As required by the Korea Customs Service, every product must carry a country-of-origin mark, and if a product arrives at our warehouse without one, the warehouse applies the marking. The method depends on the item: sewn-in labels for fabric products, and stamps for shoes, ceramics and metal products.
Yes. If you need one, please provide the HS code in advance via Order Inquiry. If no HS code is provided before dispatch, issuance of the certificate of origin may be cancelled.
Standard inspection, which checks quantity and options, is free. If you need function checks or inspection against detailed criteria, request a detailed inspection (CNY 35 per hour or CNY 1.5 per piece).
Yes. In My Page → [My Orders] → [Order Details], you can view arrival photos, issue photos when a problem is found, and label photos. Please be sure to check the photos for wrong items or damage before paying.
If a problem is found during inspection on arrival at our China center, we notify you with photos and decide together how to handle it. Because these are overseas purchases, returns and exchanges are difficult after the goods arrive in Korea, so checking at the inspection stage is important.
To return or exchange with a Chinese seller, first agree with the seller, then leave the return address, recipient and seller contact via 1:1 Inquiry or Order Inquiry. A return handling fee of KRW 3,000 plus domestic courier charges in China apply, and pickup service is not provided. Returns and exchanges after arrival in Korea are not supported.
Weekdays 09:30–18:00, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 13:30. Our China warehouse is closed on Saturdays, and customer service works rotating shifts on Saturdays and Sundays.
